BOTZA is an Association established “Nearly everywhere these days, our natural environment is degenerating. And yet it is the natural environment that sustains the life of all beings in the world. Therefore, it is more important than ever that we make whatever effort we can, according to our own ability, to ensure the protection, restoration, replenishment of our natural surroundings and their inhabitants.” The Dalai Lama Act now by becoming a Botza member to help us to aim our goals !little forest’ in the local ‘patois’, or dialect. The name symbolizes the importance of grassroots action to preserve nature – and also the fact that a ‘little’ can go a long way in terms of making positive impacts on both the local and global environment. Botza’s role is to act as a catalyst in these respects – inspiring through example, new ideas, resources and partnerships. Botza’s emphasis is on involving everyone in projects that carry benefits for everyone – and on working closely with the various public, media and business communities. Botza seeks to inspire, motivate, engage and empower us all to join in shared responsibility for the future of our local community and planet.
